Hello, I am a UK registered Architect, a Certified Passive House Designer, a writer and public speaker. I am passionate about improving people’s quality of life, health and environmental impact by designing beautiful, sustainable, high-performance architecture.

I have over 18 years of experience in architecture and sustainable design. My areas of expertise are Passive House (Passivhaus), timber construction, environmental materials. I am a strong advocate for Building Information Modelling for sustainable design. I frequently keynote and lecturer on Passive House (Passivhaus), Sustainable Design, and BIM.

I am the owner and director of VIA architecture Ltd based on the Kapiti Coast in NZ, however, this is my personal blog.
